Overview
Alison P. Wasserman joined Goetz Schenker Blee & Wiederhorn, LLP in 2022, and is a Senior Associate in the firm’s New York and New Jersey offices. Alison focuses her practice on defending cases involving catastrophic personal injury, construction accidents and Labor Law claims, premises liability, product liability, and property damage. She has earned a deserved reputation among both her clients and her peers as a zealous advocate, well-respected litigator, and collegial opponent, having been named to Pennsylvania Super Lawyers’ list of Rising Stars every consecutive year since 2019.
Prior to joining Goetz Schenker Blee & Wiederhorn, LLP, Alison was a Senior Associate at an established defense firm specializing in commercial motor vehicle, commercial premises liability, products liability, and toxic tort/asbestos cases. Alison began her career clerking for the now-president judge of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania: the Honorable Margherita Patti Worthington. Alison received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (Go Diplomats!), where she was a Buchanan Service Scholar and actively participated in Habitat for Humanity. She received her law degree from Penn State-Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Alison is admitted to practice in multiple state and federal courts. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, attempting to endear herself to her sister’s dogs, trivia nights with her friends, adding to her voluminous book collection, traveling, and running marathons and half-marathons (as tenacity and physical endurance are necessary traits in any effective litigator). Alison is a proud native of Baltimore, Maryland, currently resides in the Philadelphia area, and roots for the sports teams in both her actual hometown and adopted hometown, although they break her heart more often than not.
